TECHNOLOGY & COMMUNICATIONS COMMITTEE (TCC)

The Technology & Communications Committee (TCC) serves as a resource to support, engage, and educate Area 34’s trusted servants in leveraging technology to carry A.A.’s message of hope in today’s digital world.

As the digital communications hub for Area 34, TCC fosters collaboration and engagement among A.A. members involved in General Service, encouraging them to use modern tools to enhance their service work for our Primary Purpose to connect to the newcomer as well as connect to the broader fellowship.

The TCC meets monthly via digital conferencing and encourages district WebServants to actively participate. We warmly welcome all A.A. members to join us—no prior experience with technology is necessary! Our committee is committed to providing the guidance and support you need to learn.

For meeting dates, times, and login information, please check and subscribe to our website events calendar.

What We Do:

  • We ensure the smooth operation of the hybrid assembly attendance, blending in-person and virtual participation for greater accessibility.

  • We create and update the ever-evolving Area 34 website to meet the needs of our Area 34 fellowship.

  • We encourage trusted servants to embrace the Spirit of Rotation by effectively utilizing our digital file management system.

  • We oversee the area34aa.org anonymity protected email system ensuring they are secure, and user-friendly.

  • We actively participate in the monthly National Technology Sharing Session and the Annual National A.A. Technology Workshop to stay informed and plugged in to A.A. as a whole and how technology is impacting our beloved Fellowship.
