Area 34 Treatment Committee

The Treatment Committee coordinates the work of those interested in carrying our message of recovery to alcoholics in treatment facilities. The Treatment Committee also facilitates and participates in the

Bridging The Gap Program.

Bridging the Gap assist newly sober A.A. members make that difficult transition from the facility to the outside world.

ATTENTION A.A. MEMBERS INTERESTED IN 12TH STEP WORK.

It is recommended that each district throughout Area 34 elect a Treatment Chair to participate in the monthly Area 34 Treatment Committee Meetings. The Committee meets via video conferencing on the 4th Tuesday of the month. Please check the Area 34 Calendar for log information.

The committee also participates and meets in person at the Area 34 Assembly.
Participation from districts throughout Area 34 helps the hand of A.A. successfully reach the Alcoholic who still suffers and keeps communication lines open throughout our Michigan communitie

Additionally, communication, cooperation, between Districts and Area 34 is critically important for the success of A.A.s Bridging the Gap Program.
