Interested in 12th Step Corrections Work
PLEASE JOIN US FOR OUR VIRTUAL MEETINGS

The International Corrections Meeting
Zoom Meeting ID: 841 1036 5604
When: 1st & Last Sunday of month at 5pm (EST)
all other Sundays @ 11am (EST)

The purpose of the meeting is to share experience in carrying the message to the inside members. Trusted servants meet to discuss best practices and learn how to implement them in their own Areas. All A.A. members are welcom at this meeting especially present and past Correction Chairs, and anyon who is interested in A.A. corrections service.

This form is available to make it more accessible to corrections committee members who bring the A.A. message inside correctional facilities.

The C.C.S. form is not intended for involuntary signups from a third party individual (signing up for someone else).

Our experience shows that unsolicited signing up for the C.C.S may delay a person’s decision to turn to Alcoholics Anonymous for help.

Instead please have the “inside” A.A. a person in custody complete the form and contact us directly so that we can assist them in their C.C.S. request.

Some correspondents ask permission of their A.A. group or intergroup/central office to use their P.O. Box for receiving mail from the person in custody.

Corrections Pre-release Contact Program connects the A.A. member who is being released from a correctional facility within six months to Alcoholics Anonymous in the community they are being released to. Digital literature behind the Walls:
Conference approved A.A. literature and A.A. Grapevine copyrighted eBooks and audio books are available on tablets and desktops in various correctional facilities throughout the U.S. Thanks to the 7th Tradition contribution of A.A. members. A.A. has contracts with several vendors so we can provide literature at no cost to persons behind the walls.

Please contact your Area Corrections Chair for more information: corrections@area34aa.org

What can you do: local A.A. trusted servants who volunteer in correctional facilities can ask thier contacts which vendors they use. Contact the Corrections Chair so additional vendors can be added.
