All forms should go to the Area Registrar before GSO.
NEW GROUP LISTING FORM
It is the practice of the GSO to list groups and not meetings.
What is the difference between a meeting and a group?
Most A.A. members meet in A.A. groups as defined by the long form of our Third Tradition.
The main difference between a meeting and a group is that the A.A. Group elects a GSR and stands ready to provide Twelfth Step help when needed.
A.A. groups are encouraged to REGISTER through their Area Registrar.
An A.A. meetings simply gathers at a set time without members involved in the service structure. A.A. meetings can be listed in local meeting lists.
